Raiding Requirements

Hello and welcome to the raiding requirements page. So everyone is here because they want to raid. Or they are already a raider. I just want everyone to know that if you're not in raids yet it's not because you stink or we don't like you. It's because we are limited on the space of how many raiders we can have in a single raid. We can rotate out, but there are some things that you need to be doing before you can raid with Knights of Blood. That being said, KoB has lower raiding standards than most raiding guilds on this shard and other shards. That doesn't mean we aren't awesome, because we are, but that means we know how to balance it out good enough to where we can raid and get through it. Now if you've been in one of the raids where you haven't been able to finish it. I'll tell you it's because of lack of raiders in a given week and because people weren't at their best that day. But we do consistently down every boss we say we're going to down. Below you can find out what raids we do, and the requirements you need to meet before you can come to a raid.

Rhen of Fate is the Tier 1 ten man raid. In RoF the bosses in order are: Ungolok, the triplets (Hidrac, Oonta, and Weyloz), Drekanoth of Fate, and Finric. You can find all kinds of guides online to see how the fights are done. There is also a chronicle as well if you ever want to see the bosses.

Hammerknell

3/11

Hammerknell is a Tier 2 twenty man raid. In HK there are 11 bosses. Here are the bosses: Murdantix, Soulrender Zilas, Grugonim, Rune King Molinar and Prince Dollin, Estrode, Matron Zamira, Sicaron, Inquisitor Garau, Inwar Darktide, Lord Jornaru and Akylios, and finally Vladmal Prime. Yeah that's a lot of bosses.

Intrepid: Gilded Prophecy is the Tier 2 ten man raid. in IGP the bosses in order are: Anrak the Foul, Guurloth, Thalguur, and Uruluuk. IGP is newly released. There are some guides online if you look good enough. As I find these guides I will post them in the forums.

Alright so you know all the bosses names. You know where our progression lies with each boss, so let me tell you how you can be a part of that.

First off there are DPS checks that have to be met on every boss. If we can't meet those DPS checks, then we are wasting time. We need to make sure that if you come to raids, that you can actually do what we need you to do. You also have to have the hit for it. 1000 hit is what you need to start raids. So, that being said:

DPS- You need to be pulling at least 40k on a dummy, self buffed. That's a 3-minute parse. This isn't in a SoL, or in a dungeon. This HAS TO BE ON A DUMMY. NO EXCEPTIONS. To actually be in the raids, you have to parse with your class lead or a raid leader. Once you are raid approved, you will be put on the raid roster. Don't get discourage if you go one week but not the next. This isn't us saying you suck. This is us saying we're rotatng out raiders and to please be patient at this time.

Support- Support being you are a Chon, Bard, Oracle, Beastmaster. Now. DPS varies with every spec. It can be hard to actually pull 30k and sustain that in a raid. Some people have support specs solely just for healing or just that. Support. So we ask that you pick up a support spec for your class in case you aren't pulling much DPS in the raid and we need to swap you out with someone who can dps more. A lot of you in the beginning will be gear challenged so this is understandable. Talk to your Class lead or raid lead about what is acceptable as a support in a raid if you have any further questions, but standard, you need to be pulling betweem 20-30k as a support.

Heals-Oh the beloved heals. To be able to heal it is imperative you have your healing crystal for your set bonus. That is critical. Not everyone can heal, and if you are interested in healing, you need to prove yourself hardcore. Go with us to heal a Sea of Ladon. Heal a tank in their DPS gear in a Nightmare Tide Expert. If you can do all these things, then you are okay to heal. Doesn't mean you will be able to heal right off the back, so it's good to have another role in case.

Tank-135k health Tier 1 and at least 145k bare minimum for Tier 2. You also have to be able to tank. If you're wanting to be a main spec tank in raids. Tank all the Nightmare Tide Experts. Show us what you can do and how you do it. If you are a Rogue Tank, please talk to your Class Lead, Errollyn. He is a Rogue Tank. If you are a Warrior, please talk to Jarclan, he is a warrior tank. If you are a Cleric. Please talk to Jagas, he is a Cleric tank. If you are a Mage, please talk to Eitedri, he can Mage tank. We need tanks so if you are willing to sacrifice yourself, then we appreciate you. Show us what you can do and go from there.

Overall. You need to be versatile. We ask that you have at least two roles. One of those roles should be a support or a DPS. If you are a Healer, then you need to have a support role. If you are a tank, you need to have a dps role. If you are a DPS, please have a support role in case we need to swap you out. If you can't be versatile during raids, then we can't use you in the raid. We need different specs for different reasons. I know everyone doesn't like to work with specs and want to learn things all over again. Trust me. It's beneficial to you and it's beneficial to us as well if you are able to play multiple specs. If you can't be versatile, the amount of raids you are included in will be limited. That's everywhere you go.

If you are not yet a raider. There are some things you can be doing that can help you achieve your goal faster. You can be doing Warfronts, NTES, Chronicles, Instant Adventures, Crafting Rifts, etc etc. Doing these things daily and weekly can help you. If you are lacking in gear, run some guns and get some gear drops. Get it upgraded and be able to raid.

If you are a Tier 1 raider and you have 1200 hit, you need to be patient with us. We are in the process of trying to figure out a second group so the rotation of raiders is steady and fair. Don't throw a hissy if you're not taken on a raid and don't act like we never do anything for you either. We helped you get your gear and we helped you get stronger, so please wait patiently as we try and rotate out the raiders in the most fair way possible.

If anyone has any questions, please feel free to ask an officer, council member, or a Guild owner. We are here for you.
